Blue Skys
It was chilly today but the sky was blue so I let Flora play in the backyard while I cooked dinner.

I live on the top floor of a 4-storey apartment. If I had a fenced up backyard, I would not think twice about letting her play out there on her own! I am highly envious of your backyard!!
ReplyDeleteI'm a paranoid Momma, so I didn't let Hunter play outside on his own until he was 5 and the first few times I stood in the window and watched his every move! I'll probably let Tobin out earlier then that, since he'll have Hunter to tattle on him if he gets into trouble
ReplyDelete@ Adora We used to live on the top floor of an apartment building with no outdoor area. I don't envy your situation and I am grateful every day that we have an outdoor area to play in.
ReplyDelete@ Leah I think you are probably with the majority of moms. I just made it very clear to Flora that if she even thinks of trying to wander off she will never get to play in the backyard alone again. She doesn't want to risk that because she loves it!
